The Administrator Who Started as a Caregiver
JM Martin learned this work with his hands. Decades ago, he was a caregiver at one of San Antonio's most respected senior care homes, where high standards and affection ran together. He never learned to separate the two.
Today, JM runs the clinical side of AIP, and no family joins without his personal review. He hires the nurses, holds the standard, and still thinks like the man on the floor: the visit isn't done when the chart is, it's done when the person and the family are comfortable.

Who Comes to Them
The Nurse
Carrying about half the load of a typical hospice nurse, so the visit lasts as long as your family needs it to. Manages comfort, answers questions, catches changes early.
The Aide
Three mornings a week, more when it's needed. Bathing, dressing, the daily cares, done gently, by someone who knows how they like things.
The Chaplain
A Catholic deacon, with support for every faith and for families who'd rather just talk. He meets people wherever their beliefs live.
The Doctor
Experienced hospice physicians oversee the plan of care, working alongside your family's own doctor, who stays informed and involved.
The same team comes back, visit after visit, the vast majority of the time. Your family learns their names. They learn your family.

Who will actually visit my family member?
A full team visits: a nurse, an aide, a chaplain, a social worker, and a doctor overseeing the care. Each has their own rhythm of visits, and the schedule is built around what your family needs.
Will we see the same people every time?
The vast majority of visits come from the same team. AIP builds its care in teams on purpose, so the people caring for your family are people your family knows.
Does AIP have Spanish-speaking staff?
Yes. AIP has nurses and aides who speak Spanish and English, and care happens in whichever language your family speaks.
Can we talk to someone before deciding anything?
